One of the greatest bursts of activity was by Republican Clubs - The Workers Party. Since their formation almost 9 years ago the ' officials ' have been moved from a radical-sounding programme to a crude reformism. Their recent avtivity in the North shows that this process has not yet come to an end.

Perhaps the clearest example of this further shift to the right came in the election leaflet ' Jobs for West Belfast ' issued by Republican Clubs - The Workers Party. great deal of influence in the Northern Ireland Women's Rights Organisation. Recently NIWRO held a meeting in Ballymurphy to which they invited speakers from : Republican clubs, Cammunist Party, SDLP, and all the Unionist and Loyalist parties.
